Hi, I have two frames.......one with disc and one with out! the frame the car came on has drum and the rear coils set up on riser blocks from the rear end housing! the other frame with the disc front ....... the coils set directly on the rear end brackets. this is a 69 chevelle what is the correct set up?

cant really understand what you are asking, but the springs are supposed to set directly on the rear end perches. Brakes have nothing to do with it.

So the risers were some kind of add on to stiffin up the rear? they are about 3" dia. and about 3" tall that the springs set on. they look like an after market? or the real deal..not home made! but your saying set it up like the othe frame with the springs setting directly on the housing perch?......... right?

correct, sounds like someone added some aftermarket lifts to raise the rear of the car.
