Not sure if anyone can actually get through the description.. wow!! but actually a cool lookin car.. Have no idea what such cars sell for.. but just thought it was different.. or umm the description.
Herb396 Sep 23rd, 09, 8:52 PM I bet that seller secretly wishes he was a famous writer of old western novels (the John Wayne type) instead of some dude restoring chevelles.
kevinc Sep 23rd, 09, 9:26 PM I'd wouldn't say yea, I would say hell yea! I really like it. I would stick with the silver color instead of 2 toned. If I were to resto-mod one, that is what it would look like.
TonyZ Sep 23rd, 09, 9:40 PM Nice car but what is the reserve? I bet we'd all say yea until we see the asking price - then maybe some nays.
Blitz Sep 23rd, 09, 9:45 PM Nice car but what is the reserve? I bet we'd all say yea until we see the asking price - then maybe some nays.
Got that right!

"That stupendous noise, that beautiful and astounding sound — not the flatulent blasting of the drag strip or the bucket-of-puppies squeal of tiny Grand Prix engines, but a full-bore iron-block stroked-out American symphony of monster pandemonium."
Oh my, that is a mouthfull
james a larson Sep 23rd, 09, 10:28 PM Like the looks of the car from the outside. Can't tell if that is a reflection or not; but would hope it is just the one color. That color goes good with the rims and tires. Don't care for the tail pipes. Would prefere and original interior as far as the door panels; but do like the dash. Prefer Zane Gray when reading a western novel.
Bob's66396 Sep 23rd, 09, 11:17 PM I agree that it is a nice Chevelle, with some very nice "modern" up-grades. It has a decent stance, especially after you get past the door and some trim(or lack of) alinement. Also, the choice of color and wheels are just not for me. This is just my opinion, and everyone has one. You can count me in on a ney vote....Bob
TCSS1970 Sep 23rd, 09, 11:50 PM Somebody had that car in a thread a couple days ago. Body lines needed work, some of the trim is missing and the interior not complete. I'm thinking it was on CL at around 25k.
james a larson Sep 24th, 09, 10:50 AM Didn't catch that problem with the body panel behind the drivers door or the door itself.
Not looking for originality, so the absence of trim wouldn't be a problem. Interior abviously not done with regard to originality, door panels, seat issues, dash, etc.

That's the first time I've seen "flatulent" in an ad.l:)
6t7chevelleSS Sep 24th, 09, 10:58 AM Looks like the rear wheel opening lips have been rolled.
SPARK69 Sep 24th, 09, 12:54 PM Doesnt blow my skirt up!! The color is not flashy enough(imo)..it doesnt have the stance nailed down, its got a plain jain look to it with old vette stuff in it(mid 90's)i just threw up in my mouth !! Nice car but not for me..i vote ....not...
andrew T Sep 24th, 09, 2:01 PM nice car
didn't bother reading his novel though:p
DaleM Sep 24th, 09, 3:13 PM Not bad. I'm on the other side of the spectrum about the interior. A Pro Touring car with modern engine/trans, 4-wheel discs, updated sound system, etc. and then leave the seating and other interior appointments essentially stock...that's leaving the job half-done. Dash is mildly redone but certainly not updated and way too much clutter hanging down. Shame the firewall wasn't finished.
mr 4 speed Sep 24th, 09, 3:28 PM That is quite the epic "description"!
Stallone Sep 25th, 09, 11:48 AM Nice looking car. I didn't read the epic either. The new owner will be happy that he has A/C!
KY69SS396 Sep 25th, 09, 12:17 PM Nice looking car, although I didn't like the fit of the passenger door.
That is quite a novel he wrote. Gosh, if he lived in Kentucky, he could be governor for life.
