I would like to relocate my valve to the master cylinder I have seen it this way on camaro's. Does somebody make a kit with tubing for doing this on a 71? I am trying to get it away from the headers.

yes. i just bought all my stuff in stainless fron "The Right Stuff"
http://www.rightstuffdetailing.com/about_us.htm
i bought the bracket that mounts the proportioning valve just under the master cylinder, the proportioning valve, the master cylinder, the 9" booster and all the stainless lines, stainless line clamps, rear rubber hoses and clips. i also bought stainless fuel lines from them. they have lines for replacing yours the stock way or the way you and i want to do. i am pretty sure you will need a new front to rear line. it still stops where the proportioning valve (PV) mounted on the frame, but it has a different size fitting then what used to go into the back of the PV. from that front to rear line there is a union then another line about 18" that goes to the newly located PV. the lines that go over to the left and right hoses are obvously now going to be longer to reach the new PV possition as well. smile.gif

Thanks FO someone else just told me the same thing. I checked with them and they said they would be at Carlsile this w/e. I think I will go see them. Mind if I ask how much it costs for the bracket and two front lines. The guy I talked to on the phone said $140 for one bracket and two s/s brake lines.  He said talk to the owner he will be at the show and he will probably deal. Also I'm told if you are a member of a car club you get a discount.
