I am putting the finishing touches on my 70SS, I want to install a good radio/stereo. I want to retain the orginal look, with the updates of a modern radio, mainly I-pod ready. I have read some posts, which indicate two companies, Antique radio company and Authentic. Then I saw in NPD the "same" radio with the same costs. My question is are these the same? Any one had any experience with these and are they the same? The posts I read there was some time lag between ordering and receiving. Want some tunes! any help would be great thanks.

I have heard that they are both good radios with modern electronics. I haven't personally used them though.

Try Electro-Tech Radio in Minneapolis, MN. They restored my 69 AM radio, and converted it to a 180 Watt AM/FM w/Ipod hookup, while retaining stock look...
