I know this is a touchy topic, but my question is pretty simple. What is the best, most complete and favorite company to use to purchase a complete setup to convert to disc on a 67 SS??? Thanks

I'll venture out and say BAER. They also now make a disc kit that will stock wheels, vented and slotted discs, the whole shabang. I know a bunch of guys here have used BAER and I have yet to hear a complaint about fit, quality or installation. I went the cheap route and scrounged the junkyards and went with GW uppers.

If I had a choice (read, money) I would go with a full tilt BAER kit in the kit designation to meet your needs for the car. Plus, them massive rotors look pretty damn sweet through open rims.

Also, look at http://www.praisedynobrake.com, which is where I am going for my rear drum kit. They have full disc set-ups as well and I have heard great things about them too.

Many companies sell complete Disc conversions. Look in Super Chevy, Car Craft, Hot Rod etc. magizines. Everone it seems offers a kit. I have been very happy with the Baer system I installed a couple of years ago. I have done many junk yard conversions over the years but the parts a getting scarce or flat used up. The last junk yard conversion I did last year needed new rotors, wheel bearings, rebuilt loaded calipers, modify 1 drum spindle (the bearing race had slipped in the past and was not useable) Time-Sert (better version of a Heli coil)the caliper bolts holes on the brackets, new hoses and a rebuilt booster master cylinder.
