Does anybody know where to buy the gasket/seal that goes between the housing and the hood.I tried half a dozen restoration & weather strip places and non even carry them. Any suggestions?

Not sure on where to find them, but if worse comes to worse why not make a pair yourself...if you have the old ones as samples, then take the material to an industrial gasket (or fastener supply house) company and explain your dilemma....If you don't have them, then get a super fine mechanical drawing pencil and trace the inserts over a nice paper material/cardboard and use those as gasket patterns. I would venture that the material thickness for the taillight housing cap to the quarterpanel junction would approximate the thickness needed....as I recall it is a black semi-firm rubber on the hood inserts.
