That is a very safe tire & wheel combo so you shouldn't have any clearance problems at your ride height,at either end.
I ran pretty much that same set-up on my former 68 Elky back in the late 1990's. 18x8 TT II's in front with 4.5" backspace and BFG 255/40/18's & 20x10 TT II's with 275/35/20 Michelins. 2" drop springs in front only.

Jim, I hate to hear of your troubles. I dealt with Dave on my order, all in all he was ok to deal with, he didnt return a couple of my calls either. They screwed up on my shipping. I called 3 days before they were supposed to be at my house to get a tracking #. 6-8days shipping is what I was told and there was some type of mix up and they never left there shop. I was alittle bummed but he made it right, he had them to me in 3 days after that call.

Thanks for posting the link to your website. I read your story with great interest. I hope all of our sponsors read this and take heed. Provide good service and you will be rewarded. Screw it up and not make it right and.......
I realize there are always 2 sides to the story, but in customer service the customer is always presumed to be correct.

Looks nice! Thanks for the info, I would like to lower my car alittle more, but my main concern is driveability. So it will stay like it is for awhile.
IDesigner Sep 23rd, 09, 8:40 PM Great Choice, I think a lot of people are over going the Black wheel centers but it works really well with your black top! Looks great. You nailed the stance.

We just put bags on our yellow 72 Chevelle and love it. It was lowered 3 1/2" in front and 3" in back (pics in sig and profile) now that it has bags we are looking at the 18"/20" combo.
musclecarjohn Sep 24th, 09, 1:33 PM Really looks good, great job!:thumbsup:And major props to you for not putting on shiny wheels.
Don't take this wrong but I would so lose that bodyside moulding if it were my car,it's really detracting from the look...

Thanks! I have mixed feelings on the side molding myself! But they are original on the car, with the clips that go through the fender. Not just tacky taped on. So if the car ever gets repainted they with probably come off.

The more experiences posted, good or bad, is in the best interest of the consumer. The posts will be helpful for folks trying to decide if this company is worth their time and money. Posting your experience for spite just makes you look like a clown. Don't do it because he does, do it because Coys DIDN'T screw your purchase up. You cannot blind yourself into thinking that since they did you right, that everyone else must be a whiny, self-serving, business-wrecker with no other goal other than spreading hate. It's just delusional.
Lawson72 Sep 25th, 09, 11:37 AM Looks really good...I have been looking at coys wheels....seen the have the c57 in chrome now.... really liking the chrome black in the c5 too...I like the stance of your car with the 20 on the back...I was thinking 20's and 18's like your's... I worried about half' the 20in wheel being to far up in the fender. But looks right on yours... You order them direct from them or like off ebay?
