Hey Guys,
I converted my short water pump to long water pump over a year ago, yet never re-hooked up my power steering. I was thinking about tackling it in the next week or so. However, it dawned on me and I didn't want something unexpected to come up. Was there a difference in the brackets or pulley between the early 64-68 SWP power steering setup and the 69+ LWP setup? Can I use my existing brackets/pulleys for the SWP and do minor things to make it work? Anyone with an early car convert to long water pump w/ power steering? What did you do? Car of course has headers too.

yeah, i dropped the 350 out of my '70 c-10 truck into my 65SS. it was a straight swap though. i just used all the accessories and brackets off the truck motor. only alignment prob i had was the funny bracket that hooker provided for the a/c compressor with the headers didn't fit quite right.
