Im building a 68 chevelle , it has a small block in it with about 450 hp. Was thinking about putting a 700r4 in it so i can have overdrive. it has 12 BOLT REAR 4.10 gears. i wanna put a stall speed convertor in it but dont want something to crazy, its just a cruising car that i plan on opening up a little bit on the roads. what would be a good convertor to throw in it??? thanks

Every converter is a 'stall speed' converter, some just stall the engine at different speeds than others. A 450 hp 283 will need a different converter than a 450 hp 406. Can you fill in some details about your engine?

The specs on the cam, will tell you what stall convertor you need to run. Thomas
