Hi, I'm interested in this if it will fit. Are the camaro and chevelle boosters the same? I have to replace the one in the red chevelle, it has a vacumn leak. I'm more concerned that they look identical to the original. It seems like a good deal. Thanks.........Tom

first gen camaro and 68-72 chevelle boosters are interchangable, but that one on ebay I dont like, just because the shaft is missing the clevice and I dont know what the white thing and washer are for on the rod. I would pass on it, price isnt a steal either IMO.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I have one that a couple guys on bench racing told me I should send to a place to get rebuilt. The cost is about $140.00. That doesn't sound bad, but I saw that one and it said it was rebuilt. I don't know that much about them, I did replace one in a 88 mustang GT (blasphemy) . Let me ask you this, is it possible to just unbolt the master cylinder and leave all the lines attached, , so the fluid does not get all over the place? Thanks for your help.....Tom

yep, you can just remove the master and set it out of the way. Just need enough room to get the booster pulled away from the firewall.

the lines will give enough to move it out of the way?
