Hey y'all. Ground Up has new plated power boosters on sale and I have to replace mine since it leaks and is causing me all kinds of headaches. Is there anything special I have to do when I replace it or is it a straight forward job? I've never replaced one before.

Real straight forward. Unbolt the master and move it forward being carefull not to break the lines. D/C pedal linkage/vacuum line and unbolt from firewall. Reverse to reinstall.

Ever consider having yours rebuilt? Just sent my power brake booster and original master cylider out to Vanco Power Brake Service out in CA that has a 10 day turn around. Benefit is that you get yours back not one that might not fit your bolt holes. Not that I am saying not to support the sponsor here but I am getting my master cylinder and brake booster replated and rebuilt for $360 with a 10 day turn around. Just my .02. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
