I recently installed a new Serious Street disc brake kit from Baer Brakes. Overall I'm happy with the kit, but just wanted to pass along a little snag during the brake job. One of the banjo bolts that attach the flex line to the caliper snapped.

I searched for a new bolt around town with no luck, it was too specific a banjo bolt, and had to order a replacement from Baer. It set the brake job back a week and half.

Here's a pic of the banjo bolt and the stock bolt from the original caliper. Watch your tourque on those bolts!

The banjo bolt performed as designed.

They are designed to break before you strip out the threads in the caliper. Yes, its a PITA when they break, but it saves you a caliper graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Baer doesn't provide a parts list of the application that their PBR's come off of?
