Hi guys, I have a question regarding cowl and hood weatherstriping on my '68 SS. I just bought 2 sets of weathestriping for the cowl and hood area. I was told that the "sponge" goes on the cowl area, and the "dense" goes on the underside of the hood. Is this correct? Thank-you for your help, T.S.

Sure, I'd like to see it. You could also post them on TC for all to see, as well. Here's my email bbss6871@comcast.net

I'm kinda dense myself, but what I tell folks is that the end view of the cowl mounted seal looks like an "A", the hood seal looks like a "V". The hood seal is installed with the open end of the "V" facing the front, the cowl seal is attached to the cowl by clips that are poked through the bottom of the seal.
