Guys,
The 396 in my '66 is really tired so I bought a GM 427/480 to replace it. Took delivery on Tuesday and she's a nice one. :D I'm going to swap the M-21 tranny too (saving the original stuff for later) and want some suggestions.
I've thought about going with an M-22 but don't know of a reputable shop that sells Rock Crushers and will stand behind their product. I'd much prefer a 5 speed with overdrive due to 3.73 gearing but want a direct bolt in with no transmission tunnel modifications needed. Anyone have any ideas or suggetions?
