Just finished doing a front disc swap on my 70 malibu and I'm unsure on how to set up the rod from the booster to the brake pedal. I adjusted it so it just sat in the rubber stop on the linkage. just wondering if this is correct! There's no play but pressing the first one or two inches there is a soft spring I'm guessing from the booster and then the stronger spring from the master cylinder. Is this correct or do you adjust the rod past that initial soft pedal. First timer so any help would be great!! Thanks for all your help again!!!!

I did this conversion on my 71 last Winter. You need to use the lower hole on the brake pedal for the booster rod. You don't need the return spring anymore. You need a striker plate for the brake light switch.

The lower hole is used I just need to know how much to tighten the rod. Any help out there would be great, thanks!!!!
