I went to order a the prop valve today and was asking about the junction block on the frame to see if it was still needed. The tech told me that I could mount the prop valve on the frame in place of the junction block without a problem. DO I still need the junction block or does the new prop valve have all the lines run right out of it to the front wheels and to the rear line? Having a major brain fart with this one for some reason. THanks

I am just completing that job. For no real reason I chose to use Stainless Steel brakes. I mounted the proportioning valve they gave me inside the frame, aft of the trans mount. You will need to keep the junction block. I borrowed a flaring tool from Pep Boys and I already had a tubing cutter. You will want to buy a ahort piece of brake tube and practice on it before cutting into your tube on the car.

The adjustable valves are just a single in and out and go in the brake line to the rear brakes. The front lines are T'd by the origional block on the frame so you would still need it.

If you are buying a stock style disc/disc block/valve then you wouldn't need the origional one.
