I purchased the above project for my 69 chevelle and am puzzled about the proportioning valve on the master cylinder.... the stock manual 4 drum brakes had the valve on the frame and each front brake had a seperate line that went to the valve...now with the new proportioning valve i have the rear brake line and the two front lines but only two openings in the master cylinder is there a piece missing or was i supposed to keep the old valve on the frame? thanks for any help you can give

69, The kit for my 70 was a CPP kit. The proportioning valve that I recieved had the two inlet lines from the master, two outlets for the front and one outlet to the rear. The two outlets to the front had a little push button covered with a rubber seal cap that seperated them on the housing. I mounted my prop valve on the frame close to where the drum brake distribution block was. Are you in Vancouver BC or USA? If Vancouver Wa, I'm right down the 205 freeway, your free to look at it to compare
