Is there a difference between the left and right front spindles? I have them off of the car and am not sure if I remember which one goes where. I have noticed that the bolt hole pattern for the wheel cylinder is different between the two. Anyone know for sure?
Is this a 70 Chevelle? I am guessing it is by your user name. If so, both spindles are the same. The wheel cylinders bolt to the backing plates, not the spindles.......GT

Yes, this is a 70. I guess I should have also included that the backing plates and hubs are still attached to the spindles. Are the left and right sides still the same in this case? Thanks
Guess I didn't understand your original question. Both spindles are the same but the whole assembly is not . Put the assemblies on so the wheel cylinder line fitting point rearward so your brakehose will run behind the spindle.........GT

The tie-rod also connects to the front of the spindle assembly. Pointing toward the front of the car.
