looking at 69ss with all orig docs. but needs complete resto.floor and frame are good just outside sheet metal. along with everything else, int chrome ext.ownner has orig bill of sale protecta plate even warranty and orig tags. its a 325 hp car with 4spd. what do you think always wanted one and would not sell after its done. how much should i pay and what would it be worth when i'm done

What it would be worth when you're done depends on the "quality" of the restoration. There is a very good possibility that you will have MUCH more in it, than what it would sell for. In today's economy you can buy a finished car for way less than restoration cost.

I would benchmark a respectable restored 69SS 4-spd with original driveline and docs at about $30K. So can you buy the car, pay for parts, materials, get it painted and do all that for $30K or less,,,mmm probably not much less than that. This still assumes most of the labor is free,,meaning your time. But when finished the experience, gratification and sense of pride are priceless ! So the questions might be then,,What is "that" worth to you ?
