Just seems like most forums have fewer post's lately, except maybe the tech help sections. Is everyone busy working on there cars before winter or is there that many that go back to school?

I'm thinking that few questions are being asked because guys simply are not involved in as many car projects.
Due to the economy, folks in general are holding on to their cash...

I know in my case, I want desperately to place an order with Mike Lewis for a new set of big block heads AND I'm also wanting to buy a Vintage Air system for the '67. Trying to control that and hold off for now. Just not sure what the future holds right now for this country. :(
But, I'm still planning to dig into the '69 this winter. ;)

Bill, Since I've out of work I've been selling all my old parts to suppliment the budget. Have a deal with the wife that I can use 25% of the money I get from my parts to finish my cars in case I have to sell them, (someday, not today), but will sell the dog before the cars go, ha! Since it slowed down around here, so has my exposure and sales. Have about a third of my parts to go. Things are tough all over.

I'm kinda stuck in the same "modus operandi", chompin at the bit to send the body out to begin work and/or do it myself, but it's a BIG transaction, so I am in limbo too. Doing detail work that's cheap.

Doing the firewall, then poping, er I mean popping out the R windshield to replace the areas that held the rear deck speakers. Seems the past owners had some rectangular speakers. Basically cutting out 6X9 inserts to fit and tacking them in place.

I've also dreamt up and idea to locate the shifter location (now back about 3-4" from stock) and designing the mods to accommodate any change in location.

So plenty to keep me busy until I am comfortable plunging into the "Big Spend".

For me, Im busy on a project but the funds are about gone. So I'll be around here more pretty soon.

I guess we'll have to make some NOISE then...lol :D
