I'm headed out today to find a Taurus fan to put in my small block with no A/C. I'm going to have to buy a 100 amp alt. but my question is, will the old stock wiring be an issue running more amps for the electric fan? I want to keep my car cooler but don't want to damage any wiring. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

no, but you should install a relay on the fan. I suggest you visit this site and read a couple of the tech articles especially regarding the alternator. Mark was extremely helpful in getting me set up on my 66.
