I have a 1972 chevelle, with a 496 for a motor. Changing out the 4 speed to a automatic. The car weight is about 3600 lbs with me in it, 4:11 rear end. 4700 rpm is where I get my HP and Torque. I don't want to go faster than 11.5 secs in the 1/4 mile so I'm wondering what size or toque converter should I run? Im also going to be running a TH400

actually I do at 4600 rpm HP at 546 and torque 623.9. At 4700 rpm HP is 558.5 and torque is 624.1. That is where my best torque is, the most HP is at 5800 RPM ant that is at 660.7 and the torque is at 598.3
