: Adding booster to 67, mounting angle??

Hi. I'm adding power brakes to my 67 Malibu (4 wheel drums). I got a '67 booster/MC combo from NPD, and I'm concerned about the bracket on the back of the booster that attaches to the firewall. It's going to leave the booster and MC mounted at a very steep upward angle - is that normal?? Without the booster, the MC is nearly level, but now it's tipped up so far I don't know if I can even put fluid in without spilling it. I'm having one of those "you're missing a piece" moments... could somone either tell me this is normal, or tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

My '67 was power drum brakes prior to changing to power disc, and it seems like all the cars with boosters have a significant angle to them.

my 67 drum to disk conversion was the same way. the different angle will require you to use the lower hole in the B/pedal to locate the booster pushrod to. NO you are not having a missing part adventure. Dave
