I like that! The grill looks like the Smokey And The Bandit generation ('77?)

Maybe it'll grab me a little harder than the Camaro did.

Just something else for people with too much money on their hands.

Not too bad. It's the only way a T/A enthusiast will ever get one.

I love it actually! I want to see the tailights though, anytime I like the front end of a new car, the tail end is always hideous...new mustang

Click on "concept photos" and there are pictures of the rear end and others.
11 pictures, I think.
Just looked but getting old, already forgot.

It's just a modded Camaro. I highly doubt GM will even consider it, but it does look cool.

it looks a better then the Camaro does. I just don't like the new Caramo for some reason.

looks pretty neat but it is a new camaro no doubt...

sore spot with me for those t/a's. soldier at ft benning ga spanked my old 69ss396 chevelle with a 69 t/a back in the early 80's. his was the white one with the blue stripes. was wicked fast. said his dad bought it new. both my car and his were bone stock at the time....he totalled it later on and was nearly killed...crazy army ranger !!

the other one I liked was that 455 sd version in the early 70's...

only the rich kids had t/a's at my high school....

Front end...not so bad. Tail end....disaster! That has to be one of the ugliest rear ends on a car I have ever seen. You would think that they could come up with something better looking than that. Its ok until you get past the doors, then it all goes down hill for me.

I like it! But it won't happen because as we all know GM and government killed Pontiac. Their third best seller stabbed in the back. The "We Build Excitement" line is now dead.

is anybody actually reading??? it's not a g.m. thing, it's an aftermarket conversion. there won't be a ton of them, but they'll be out there. i also hate the rear of the car, it's going in too many directions, i would have liked a straight smoked light bar clear across, and would have done the spoiler different.

a few months back, somebody had some photoshop pics, some with the round headlight frames, and one closer to this, i liked the round better.....

man, i'm looking at the pics and just don't like the detail, i'd rather see the front fasia with an actual split rolled back to the grill, the door inserts look like they stole one of snoop dogs jackets and hacke it into door inserts, the rear end is a mess, with the down turned lights and an ass that looks like it was stolen from a bass boat...

Needs 4 square headlights, but the line across the front bends down in the middle, so that would look wrong too.

Taillights.. W...T...F? Looks like, I don't know what that looks like. Shrinky dinks or something.

And is that faux wicker contact paper on the dash?'

I dig the hood and the side vents. And the wheels, although it could use a taller sidewall on the tire, especially in the rear.

All in all it is 1 million percent better than the one I did. Thumbs up to the guys who did it for doing it instead of sitting around the beer going "Dude, when I get some money, I'm gonna get a Camaro and...."

Yes we are reading. We say this because of the possibility of GM using this as an example, to POSSIBLY use as a real concept, without having to use a Camaro.

we've known for months that pontiac is dead, and lutz made it clear from the beggining that there wouldn't be a firebird, not to mention they are sending millions to china. i don't think it was ever an option, hell they couldn't even ger them to give us a g8/ caprice. i guess it was wishful thinking for us poncho lovers....

I read it. I like it. If I had the $$$ to put down for a new camaro I'd also throw down the dough for this 3RD PARTY kit.

I'm sure there's enough dudes with the cash that would like a TA, and aside from paying some custom shop a ridiculous fee for a one-off this is a pretty good option. I wonder how many they will end up producing/selling.

The front, sides and rear spoiler look good, not sure what happened with the tail lights. They just don't flow with the body lines.
