I just installed all new rubber bushings in my rear control arms and boxed the lowers. I also picked up a 12 bolt rear which has new poly bushings installed in the ears. Is it okay to keep the polys in, or do I need to change them out for rubbers.

leaving the poly in is absolutly fine.

I've seen the same and heard pro/cons about binding and such. I just didn't see a big problem with having 2 out of 8 bushings being poly. I guess if it doesnt work, i'll just get some rubbers.

finally, using poly is fine in the uppers as long as you do not box the uppers. they need to have flexability. and what usmc is doing is not a suspension binding violation.

Eric, the bushings in the ears are poly-graphite. I know because I installed them. They will work fine.I'm running poly-graphite in both uppers & lowers with no problems. Just a little stiffer ride. Like others have said don't box the uppers they need some flex in them.
