well almost. I put the rear back in this weekned with all new hardware. boxed control arms with urathane bushings, new springs, sway bar and new shocks. I dont have the front wheels on yet. but the front is on jack stands close to normal ride height. the tires are 235/60R/15 and the rear wheel lip is 29" from the floor. when I cut the straps on the shocks for them to extend, I had to let them FULLY extend for the bottom of the shock to line up with the mount.the shocks are monroe gas-matic. This puts the shocks fully extended at ride height and the shocks are noisy when I push up and down on the rear. I dont think I have suspension pre-load as I didnt tighten up the bolts before I set it on the ground. the bolts are still not tight as Im hoping for the rear to settle. the thing I am most concerned about is the springs. these were new springs that I've had for 3 or 4 years but I dont remember if they were SB or BB rear springs.springs are moog. would SB VS. BB make that much of a difference? Is settling a couple inches to much to hope for? If I cant expect much settling then I will look for lowering springs. I will try to post a pic this weekend. thanks

Get the car back on 4 wheels and roll the car to settle the suspension before you try and change the ride height.
