I am ready to replace the front sway bar and add a rear sway bar with after market products. The front sway is 1 & 1/4" with new poly bushing kit.
My question is: do I just raise the car up to access the end-link bushings? Or do the tires need to be on the ground with the car on a lift?
I am going to box the rear lower control arms and use the Edelbrock anti-hop bars. The upper control arms will need holes drilled for the sway bar. I am familiar with rear end support with the car raised for this job. Does anyone have suggestions and procedure for the front sway bar replacement?

Font bar: Leave the car's weight on the tires. Use ramps or a lift that leaves the weight on the tires.

Rear bar: Drill the upper arms??? You mean lower, right?

If your car isn't to slammed to the ground you should have no problem just unbolting the end link without ramps or a jack. We did with my car. Also if you don't have access to ramps and just a jack just jack up the car take off the old bar and just start the nut @ the top of the endlink then put the car on the ground so the weight is on it then tighten it up.

Rear bar also note that you *MIGHT* need shims, if the bar doesn't fit tight don't keep tighteing the bolts to make up for the slack use shims.
