Does anyone have any pictures they could post of a car with rally style wheels and the tire size. I just got some 15in rally wheels for my 66 chevelle and I was planning on putting 245\60r15's in front and 255\60r15 in the back. I plan on lowering the car 1 1\2 - 2in any suggestion's welcome!

My 66 has 255/60R15 front and 275/60R15 rear on 15X8 rally wheels. See my sig. My fronts rub on hard turns and bumps and the previous owner put taller springs in the rear so the 275's would clear so I am not sure how low you can go. I can measure the front and rear wheel opening heights if that would help.

Berto, got any more pics of the rear?
how did you get the 15x10s on there, would you know what the backspace is?
Any clearance issues?
Thanks
Btw 255/60 will fit fine in the rear, ran mine with em for many years.

backspace is 4.5 no rubbing, but the wilwood brakes barely clear the rim. I might need to get a dremmel and clean up the inside of the rims.

and I am running an aftermarket rear end, but it is a bolt in application. 9 inch ford. I have 1 inch or more of clearance from the framerail.

Is your rearend built to same width specs as a stock 67 rear?
Im wondering if the car was dropped some if the outside would rub. 1 inch in the rear seems like plenty. The 10 in rim looks great.

yea the rearend was ordered from performance rearends (something like that) stock axle lengths etc so forth. I have pretty good clearance between the fender and the tire, i think it could tuck up under there pretty easily
