I would like to find a set or springs that will lower about 1.5 -2" all around on my 67'. Does anyone know who makes such a item.

Well all i CAN say unless you are using some sort of lift bar (ssm or otherwise) and coupe or elky lowering spring will lower it tooo much. just keep in mind that in stock form the rear sits a little lower than the front. good luck.

Check with several of the aftermarket suppliers (ground-up, Yearone etc) They have lowering springs. One comany sells 3" lowering springs but I forget which one.

I just went on that search myself because I didnt want to buy drop spindles. Original parts group has 2" and 3" coil springs for $159 and coilsprings.com has them custom made and I just got me quote emailed to me, there only $126 and our of state so no sales TAX! wooo! try them.... tongue.gif

Remember that rear springs on a wagon are stiffer than the other models. My 70 wagon came with 200 lbs springs stock. Fortunately the previous owner had some springs made for it that are an inch lower but kept the stock rate.

out of state so no sales TAX! wooo! Phil (Pnutkemist),

be careful. I have heard on the news that the state wants to still charge "you" for the sales tax, based on what you ordered out of state...

It sucks! I know if I can't get it locally, I too will usually buy out of state because of the tax issue...
