Here's the Trim Tag and VIN for a 1969 El Camino I'm looking at for my son. I can't find a good decoder online, so I was hoping you can help me out.

I've figured out the paint codes, but I'd like to know about the digit after the "KAN", the 755 and the 00743.

Please help out...thanks!

The 248078 is just the body number. It would be on the buildsheet also if one is found.
No real importance to it.

The 755 is for a black vinyl bench seat.

The 00743 is an internal plant code that has no real signifigance either.
