I got one of those nice cad-plated boosters to replace my old black painted one. Was wondering if it is possible to replace the booster without disconnecting the brake lines from the master cylinder. Anyone done this?

There also appears to be a junction block or routing block for the lines attached to the booster bracket down in behind there. Any tips for getting a dang wrench in there???

69 with stock front discs.

You should be able to remove the two nuts that hold the master cylinder onto the booster without having to drain the master cylidner or disconnect any brake lines. After you get the two nuts off, carefully pull the master cyl. out of the way you should be able to get the booster out of the way by pulling it straight out.

Thanks Brian. I was able to replace it with no big problems.....except getting a wrench down in there.

I did have to enlongate the mounting hole on the repro booster for one of the firewall studs. Slightly different center to center measurement than my original. Something for others to check when making the swap.
