I hadn't had it hooked up in years but now that I have the Rochester back on I thought I would hook it up. I screwed it down with the coil bolt and then to the throttle but it was stiff and wouldn't budge. I shot some silicone down the inside of the cable but it didn't seem to help. Finally, I used a screw driver to pull it out (2 inches or so) but it doesn't go back in and doesn't appear to be working.
So my question is should I just plan on getting a new cable? And if so when I replace it do I have to have the pan off to see what it hooks up to? I noticed there's a screw where it connects to the tranny but I'm not sure if that's all I need to do to get it off.
Sorry for the long explanation, any help appreciated!!
