Is there a good reason why adjustable shocks and drag springs are all said to not be used on the street. Are they not safe for general cruising around town and occasionally going to the track. Or do they just say they are for drag race only so they can bump the price up on them? Any help would be appreciated(i am planning on ordering soon graemlins/thumbsup.gif so a quick would reply would really help. thanks

Well, my car is essentially a stock type suspension drag car I converted for some street duty. I have Moroso springs on all four corners, 90/10 shocks out front, full spool, etc.
While my car is very driveable on the street, I think the concern is if you needed to make any type of emergency maneuver. It could be quite easy to lose control since the springs/shocks aren't designed for these types of situations (say a quick lane change, etc.). Also, if you hit a hard bump while making this quick direction correction, this could make the situation worse.
Now, if your careful with your driving and don't do anything stupid, you may be fine, but the others on the road are what you really need to worry about and be prepared at all times.

Well you ansered my question, thanks graemlins/beers.gif . I am going to go ahead and order the adjustable drag shocks. You can dial them into front:90/10, 80/20, or 60/40. and for the rears you can dial in: 70/30, 60,40, or 50/50. For the strip i am going to go 90/10 up front and 50/50 in back. Any ideas for what set up to go with for street use?
