OK this is my first post but I can already see that there will be plenty more so I am asking for any help that you Chevelle addicts might share with me.First I am converting a 67 SS to front discs.I got the parts to do the conversion from a 71 monte carlo,Spindles, plates everything including the "P" valve.I mounted the valve at the same location as the old drum brake valve and when I tried to hook the rear brake line(original) The fitting on the valve and the line itself are two different sizes. What fitting is needed to make the swap and is this conversion going to be a pain in the rear.I was told that this is a direct bolt-on.Hopefully this is the case. Thanks guys.
I hear you loud and clear! I am doing a conversion to all-discs and over the weekend I ran into the exact same problem with my new valve.
If you can wait I will check when I get home this evening. I do know that the original line on my '67 for the rear port is 1/2" 20 tooth. Offhand I do not know what the size is on your valve.
Here's something I did: got frustrated with guessing on sizes and bought a cheapie fitting gauge to help me quickly identify the parts.
Go to a good auto parts supplier like NAPA for this part. Most likely standard chain stores won't have a large enough supply of fittings to help you out. You'll need to ask them for a "inverted flare fitting" or "inverted flare adapter." I had to try two stores for the one I needed, but I did get it.
By the way, I was told mine would be a direct bolt-in as well! Just keep your patience and you'll be able to get it worked out.

Thanks for the reply Tom,I'll try your suggestion and get back to you.Good luck with your project,This chevelle that I am restoring was a basket case and then some but its beginning to take some form of a car.By the way, have you got any ideas on how to compress the rear springs so as to connect the shocks on the bottom fitting?I do not have the body on the frame and because of lack of weight, when I try to compress the springs the frame just rises when I put a jack under the rear end housing.I guess I need some way to chain the frame to the floor.
Hmmm...haven't encountered that problem.
Sorry I didn't get the fitting measured. I didn't remember it until I was in bed last night. I'll try and do it this evening.
Do you know anyone with a spring compressor? Maybe you could get some hefty friends to come over and sit on the frame for you while you cinch down the shocks!

Thanks again Tom,I thought the exaxt same thing and I believe that I may have this one figured out. What disc setup are you going with?Is it one of the store bought kits or parts from another A body? The reason I ask is ,My parts came off a 71 Monte Carlo,I modified the existing Distribution valve bracket and mounted the Monte Carlo priority valve in the same place the distribution valve was located. This will probably work with a little more adjusting.Just wondering how you did yours.67 supersport

The line size going from the combi valve back to the rear brakes is 1/4 inch. The problem arises because the factory fitting thread size is larger than the replacement lines fittings. Two ways around this problem.,you can reuse the factory fitting (from the 71 Monte) with the new line by cutting and re-flaring the new line.
The other way is to use a "bushing" fitting. The parts guy will have to check the footnotes where the combi valves are listed to find this part.

use brake line adapter fittings to connect original lines to P valve. All bigger auto stores carry them. Best to do this with the brake pieces at the store.
