I have a Moroso aluminum short big block water pump that I want to have powdercoated and I was wondering if it can be dissasembled (pressed apart like a stock pump), coated and reassembled? I don't think the high temp would be too good for the seal.

Also, does anyone know if the Moroso pump can be rebuilt using stock seals etc?

I realize a call to Moroso would probably be best but I was wondering if anyone else had done this and could offer any advice?
