I am in need of a 4 wheel disc kit without the master cylinder and with a parking brake. Can someone recommend a kit that they have purchased. Thanks. Bill

I bought the 'right stuff' package for my 67 and it stops pretty decent... for only having front brakes. The kits that use the GM / El Dorado rear disk caliper are pretty much junk. GM only used that POS caliper a couple of years because it was junk,, now here we are buying aftermarket clones and putting them on our pride and joy. If that's what you use, once and after you finally do get the air out of the rear (you have to remove the calipers, find a spacer the thickness of the rotor and bleed the brakes with the bleeder pointing up) then it is IMPERITIVE that you use the parking brake at least every other time you drive the car. The parking brake adjusts the rear brakes and if you don't use it FREQUENTLY, the rears become useless. A real dangerous situation. Even tho the fronts do 80% of the stopping and the RightStuff kit is OK for that.... it's not untill your in a bad situation that you discover the rear brakes are not doing a thing!

I'm not trying to romp on the 'Right Stuff' kit in particular,, just saying be carefull of the kit you choose because that caliper is a cheep way to put 4wheel disk packages out there. A LOT of kits use it.

I'm looking right now for some good solution for a 67 10bolt. I tried to save some bucks and it came back to bite me in the butt. Think about it. Spend $30 -$40k on a restoration to save $500 or a grand on a safety item. I sometimes wonder how I got so 'smart'
