I was curious as to what a person might have to pay for a set of Mickey Thompson headers. I know they haven't made them for over thirty years. I was told they gave this Chevelle the best sound of all the headers it's run.
So could someone be so kind as to give an approximate price one might pay for a goot set? :)

They are being reproduced and were being sold on ebay.

i talked to guys that are reproducing these at super chevy indy & they said that it will sound like the originals. There was a ad in the classified some time ago. i went to classified & typed in scavenger headers & its still there. bill

I just put a set of these on my Skylark with a healthy 455 and 3" exhaust. Sounds awesome! The equal length tubes inside the HUGE collecters give it the unique sound. They haven't made them for Buicks since the 80's I think. I bought this set new for $650

I did some searching and I couldn't find anything about them on this site. Anyone have a link?

Thanks.
I was using the search function at the top of this page. I was figuring that would include the classifieds.
Are these the one ACES1 is working on, too? These are the headers that are the same lenght for all the tubes, correct?

Yes, all tubes are the same length. Which is why the collector is so much longer. From what I have been told that is what gives them a very distinctive sound.
