How deep do you want to get?

I'd ask a lot of questions

how much body work.

Plan on rebuilding/replacing the turbo for sure.

With how cheap you can buy a decent intercooled (86/87) car I would not personally bother with a hot air car, especially one in that poor of condition.

From the pictures, that car looks rough. You would have much too much money into that car to make it nice.

Yeah, I looked at an 87 last week, rust free with fully forged motor ran 10.80s last week for 11k. I wouldn't mess around with hotairs either.
