I know some or most of you guys will be racing, but for those of you who are into guns, me and my brother have a big shoot planned and I was going to see if anybody from the group here would be interested in going. It's going to be probably 7-8 people, maybe a couple more but not huge. We're going to have food and drinks and whatnot and it's going to end up being an all day shoot probably.

If anybody would be interested let me know. There's a 100$ ammo buy-in for anybody coming so that we have enough ammo to support however many people decide to come.

Here's what I'm bringing :)

Just got my pistol grip and stock finally for my Saiga 12, so have to post that one too :D

But yeah, if you're interested or want to go, let me know. We plan shoots every 5-6 months usually and they keep getting bigger and bigger.

I can't believe you're 10/22 is still stock, or at least wearing a wood stock.

I can't believe Chad still lives in South Seattle:noway: He belongs with his people:yes:, aka gun toting rednecks;). I'm almost tempted to take a pic of my .40cal H&K P2000 ambidextrous pistol(lefhanded, remember)......almost.

The Saiga 12 took priority :p The 10/22 will be getting a trigger upgrade along with a bull barrel, and a much nicer stock within the near future ;)

Is this one of those 'guns' vs. 'weapons' statements? I'm sure George would probably say the same thing.....but most of us are civilians and don't know any better.

Or we know better and take what we can get ;) lol I've never shot an H&K and will never own one due to the fact that I don't see the point in overpaying for a name lol How do they handle?

Well, both of my other weapons were cheap(1 Remington 30-06 semi-auto rifle w/ scope, 1 Mossberg .22 with stock load and bolt action....sucks for a lefthander)....the Mossberg was free, so I figured I'd buy 1 new weapon for my pistol/home defense(this was in 2006). It handles well IMO, it has the double action recessed trigger, 3 different grip sizes, and 2-12 round clips. I also bought a holster for it and the 2nd clip to 'piggy back'. I've only put 35 rounds through it, just to get a good feel for it....but .40 cal/10mm ammo is a bit less plentiful than 9mm ammo and I'm not an avid shooter. I also had thought about buying a SigSauer at the time, but liked the H&K better....I bought the H&K at Fed. Way Discount Guns, so it's not like I got ripped off buying it new.

I heard that Sig has a new 'cash for clunkers' program going lol You trade in your old gun, no matter what it is, and they send you a check for 200$ when you buy a new Sig lol I'm not sure of the details, but might be worth looking into for anybody considering purchasing a Sig
