I was thinking i want to lower my malibu 2 inches. should i buy the correct small blocks springs or do you think it would handle better if i have BB spring on it?

You didn't say what year car you have...
I have 2" SB drop springs on my 70, front only, airbags in the back. Love the ride, but if you have full length headers you will have to watch where you drive. I have dynomax ceramic coated headers and have hit the drivers side lower tube and smacked the collector a few times. Seems the BB springs wouldn't accomplish the drop you are looking for.
