I'm hearing lots of buzz about the 12th. Anybody gonna FRI the 11th? I know my Master Crew Chief TOG cannot make it FRI. And I believe he, Kevin, and others are going on the End of the World event.

Post your plans for the weekend here. With me up in BC with 2/3 of my youngsters this weekend, the 11th looks weak. Thinking I can get a kitchen pass and run the 12th. Should be all day TNT if I read the note above right on Bremerton's site.

Ended up taking my original crank back down today....almost nobody makes a 3.75" stroke with a 350 main, external balance to work with a 5.565 rod anymore(Lunati does, but I'm not bending over for it). So, who knows how long this machine work will take....saw my block sitting in the same spot as it was Saturday when I took it down there.

Well the 12th looks like the day to be there so I think me and TW will shoot for that day :thumbsup: It's the start of the work week at Lowes anyway, and I'm schedule to have that Wednesday and Thursday off, so might be a little easier that way too :D

I just need to run the line still and hook up an activation switch and TW will be ready to spray :yes:

Not sure if I'm going on Friday but pretty sure we are. Saturday for sure. I could get some good runs in Friday though so I'd say we're 70% on for Friday too.

If you listen at the very end of this video you can hear the rpm spike and i got right out of it. I thought I broke something in the transmission. I think I just needed a bigger burnout and a new set of tires though.

Who is doing your block for you?

410 Machine in Buckley....only 10 minutes from the car. Guy has been in business probably 20 years. Reasonable prices, seems to know his stuff pretty well. It's not like I'm doing anything unusual anyway, so I don't see any problems arising.

He did say he was on a run of small blocks already, so he'd slip me in....it's only been a few days and he had me set my crank right next to the machine, so I'm guessing that would be soon. Not in a hurry...

How well do they prep the track for the TNT's on Saturday's? Is it a full prep or a "Friday night prep"?

Most of the big tire cars don't run until Saturday, so I'm sure it's a full prep on Saturday and Sunday.

Ya, prep on Friday sucks but many, many runs for the medium to slower cars. My small tire 10 second nova is a handful on fridays but sure gets the blood pumping hanging on through the traps.

I'll have Roger's 68 chevelle sporting my 350 I was running in the WN. The chevelle is a big tire car so my little bitty wheezer 350 shouldn't have any problem with hook,, I think......until I squeeze it. :D

Hoping for 10.30's on motor and 9.70's on a 150 shot. The car is 2200 Lbs w/o driver so 700 lbs lighter than the WN should run in that range since the WN was 10.90's on motor.

Glad to hear they prep on Saturday TNT's. I won't be able to go the 12th so I am hoping for no rain on the 26th...May be my last chance at getting my pig a 10 sec timeslip this year :yes: It ran a 7.06 1/8th at Forks last weekend and I know last year I ran a quicker 1/8th mile at Bremerton then I did at Forks, so I am getting close. Need some more runs to get my new shocks dialed in...

I am off on the 19th though, and that would give me plenty of time (If I can find the motivation) to finish the nitrous up. If not, I'll be running on motor hoping for 13.0-12.9 :yes: So definitely going to shoot for the 19th :D

Yep, you smoked me there, only a measly 134.5 MPH for me. :D

Now if I can just get rid of the top end miss and get some good air, I think the little ol 355 will run 9.4's-9.5's. That 1.22 60 ft felt very good, then I ran .004 slower because of a 1.27 60ft.

Brian's car is so awesome, it was so cool to hear his name to go to the tower to get his "talk'n to" for running to fast.

Jim,,,OH so close,,,,,,,, 9.033 on the last pass. Good air and he would have had his 8. Dang. I ran heads up against Jim on this run and had a blast. I try to cheat and left on the second yellow and had I ran a 9.60 something pass it would have been close at the stripe but the miss was really bad and only ran 9.90. Of course when I left, Jim figured he better get the move on and red lit too so technically no one won right???? We both were disqualified per Jim's original rules... :D...... so it's a draw (that's what I'm telling myself). It was really fun to run Jim on that pass, almost as much fun as our 10.01 to 10.02 race two years ago.

The way use to play on the street was if the second guy left too and tried to run down the first car, it was a race. Nobody complained about leaving early if the second car won.
