: Frame Pictures---Before and after
68chevmn Sep 2nd, 09, 9:45 PM I just finished painting my frame and moved it into my garage for assembly. My wife does not share the same excitement as I do when it comes to my Chevelle, so I thought I would post a few pictures here for the forum.
The frame was sitting in a South Dakota tree line for 8 years before I rescued it and brought it home.
The first picture is when I got the frame home, after sandblasting, in epoxy primer in my make-shift paint booth and finally painted with black Dupont paint in my garage.

john5469 Sep 2nd, 09, 9:55 PM Hey Dan that is some fine work. Hope the wife thinks you were in South Dakota on "buisiness".
Wheres the car thats going on that beautiful frame?
68chevmn Sep 2nd, 09, 10:08 PM My wife does not even ask where I go to pick up parts anymore, but she does occasionally come with if I tell her that there is an "antique store" along the way that we can stop at. The body for the 68 Chevelle is sitting to the left of the frame awaiting surgery to replace a few rusty panels.
