Anyone know anyone that can help me install my fenders / hood on my freshly painted 69? I am willing to pay a little, but I just need them on before I transport my car back home. The shop its at is closing in one week and I need it out ASAP. No one there can do the fitment and I have never done it before. The car is in Ontario CA, thanks!

Just some suggestions:

If the doors are already and alligned then move to the fenders. just making sure that the gap from the bottom of the door/fender spacing allway up to the cowl is even bolt the fenders up. then put your hood hinges on in the higest most forward position. set your hood on again in the most forward position snugging the bolts so that you can still slide the hood with a little force but tight enough that it wont move on its own. Then slowly close it watching that it doesnt hit on the way down. once you have it kind of in place then you can slide it around to get it to where it has even gaps. raise it then tighten it.

BTW put a couple of layers of blue painters tape on ALL of the edges and corners to protect from scratches and goughes.

I should have been a little more clear, but I needed help actually installing the fenders and aligning them. I am having a hard time finding someone to do it.
