i need a new front center link for my 70 ss.the parts store says there is only one part number for both the ss and reg chevelle.i know the sway bar and tie rod end are different.can anyone confirm if the center link is the same or different.thanks raytayky

There is no difference in any of the steering linkage between a SS or otherwise. Tie rods, centerlink, sleeves, ball joints-all the same. Sway bar size is not SS vs non-SS issue. That is determined by the suspension option code often dictated by whether or not SS is checked but not simply because it is an SS.The centerlink is the same for 68-72 and 78-86 I beleive.
