Due to the "economic downturn" I have had to take on another job and that keeps me out of my shop for the most part. I am waiting to put my engine on a dyno hopefully around Christmas as I still need a carb and starter. Below is a couple of pics of the engine and my redneck designed breather system. Also is a pic of what it is going in. I see you live in Rainville. Are you going to make"Cruisin the Coast" this year? This will go into: http://rides.webshots.com/album/574438727GuUrEW This. http://rides.webshots.com/album/574440820GzFQCT

Randy,
Looks like you've got an excellent start on your Pro Street Chevelle:yes:. I might try to drive down for a day to check out CTC. I have heard numerous positive comments about it.

Thanks David. We have gone to CTC for the last couple of years and enjoy it very much. Since hurricane Katrina, there is no trouble finding places to park and watch cars go by.The weather is great and you will see everything from a Tin Lizzy to a GT-40. Where in Al. is Rainsville?? We are about 200 miles north of Biloxi in N.E. Ms.

Randy,
CTC sounds similar to the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge,Tennessee. Rainsville is located in Northeast Alabama, about an hour drive from both the Tennessee and Georgia state lines.

David,

Have you decided if you are going to try and come to Cruisin the Coast. You mentioned over on camaros.net that you might come for a couple days.

Mike,
I'll call that Holiday Inn that was mentioned in camaros.net to see if they might still have rooms available. I have a small leak in the roof of my house that needs to be fixed and if it doesn't take every penny of some money that I have saved for unexpected repairs.....I will haul my junk down and look for you to cruise.

David,

Did you decide if you can come to Cruisin the Coast??? How is the roof ( hole ) at your house. Hopefully you got it fixed.

I have to repaint a quarter panel on my camaro before I come to CTC since someone decide to scratch it at a cruisin in. Plus I need to mount my tongue tool box on my trailer. Also alot of polishing. Hope to see you there.

Mike
