I cant remember if my 69 had that either? And your car is a 66 maybe someone else will shed some light for you on your situation.

My car is a 66 and I believe the picture was from a 65.It may be a 64-67 convertible part.Has anyone seen one made or is it just something that I need to fabricate. It just looks like a flat sheetmetal piece with 2 flanges. If anyone has made one,or has one apart, and could give me measurements/pictures I would appreciate it.
