I play around with oval track race cars along with street cars. When we are racing on a Chevelle frame we typically move the rear shocks to be more vertical (to remove the severe angle caused from lower in the car allowing them to work freely).
Are there conversion kits to do this other than modified 4-links for tub rear ends (I want to see how far they are moved)? I moved my brothers lower shoock mounts (made some) closer together and it reduced quite a bit of the wheel hop (still there a little, but we need to revalve the shock). Do any of you move the shocks to get them more vertical? Does anyone use QA1's and if so what type of valving do you use? We are running 5 rebound/3 compression split on the rear.
