Very  Is that an Elky frame? Care to share some details? I am getting ready to strip a frame in the next couple of months. That looks very very sweet.

thanks again guys, thats amazing, i am going to be mounting my control arms this weekend also, i will keep the pics posted. i just finished last night pressing all the new poligraphite bushing in all the control arms and touching up the scratched paint. i am doing the b-body spindle conversion so i turned the bal joints down to 2.012" and pressed them in too. tonight I'll put the new retaining nuts for the shock mounting screw and the new bumper stops on the lower front control arms.

Hey Pete anything ever happen with reaming out the lower ball joint hole in the spindles?

i did not go that route. the tool was $80 and the percision had to be a highter then i felt comforatable doing. the ball joint relys on the taper for its strength, and i was not sure i could guarentee that the tapered hole was perfectly round or conical. it was so much easier to just turn the danr ball joints. they will last for ever especially since i lube them every thime i put the car on my lift to change the oil. i just turned down an extra set and i'll keep a spare in the car if i "happen" to need one in an emergency. it does not cost or weight that much to worry about lugging it around everywhere.

Cool stuff, Pete! I was inspired to try designing my own phantom using your picture. I think this 2 dr wagon might be doable using an El Camino with roof and back half of a wagon. Good luck with your project.

Pete, that's looking awesome!

And Bruce, that's a killer looking wagon hybrid. You planning to do something like that, or is it just a concept? Either way, I like the picture.
