My front end sounds like its going to fall apart when i hit potholes or just go over some rough road. The control arms sound like they are banging up and down on the frame.

I rebuilt the front end about 2 yrs ago, all new EVERYTHING bushings, shocks, tierods swaybar,. the only thing i didnt replace was the springs and control arms.

All of the bushings and bump stops are there. The only thing i can think of is that either my shocks or springs are too stiff. I feel if i keep thi sup i might brake a ball joint or another control arm.

I have KYB shocks all around and the springs I guess are the originals. Anyone have any ideas????
Product reccomendations? Is there a possiblity PST gave me the wrong KYB's with the front end rebuild kit???

Did you use Polygraphite bushings? If so they will make your Chevelle ride firmer than the stock rubber bushings will. As for shocks I have heard that the KYB shocks do give a firm ride so combining the Polygraphite bushings and the KYB shocks I would think that would give you a real firm ride, so later on you might want to think about some different shocks. I have a Polygraphite kit from PST on my 72 Chevelle and Monroe Sensa trac shocks with new stock replacement front springs and the original springs in the rear with some air bags added, my ride is firm but not harsh. so maybe with some new shocks you might get a smoother ride.

yeah i installed the polygraphite kit from PST and the KYB shocks. One of my buddies who rode in it a while back said damm you have some firm shocks up front. I have just read so many people say KYBs were good on there chevelle thats why i went with them. But if i replace the shocks im thinking i might just replace the springs too.here in LA the streets here are giving my car a good thumping :(
