I have already installed a 4-wheel disc master cylinder and adjustible prop valve, but I was wondering if I will have problems running the rear calipers WITHOUT the parking brake cable hooked up?

These brakes are 94 F-body...

I ask this, because I know some GM calipers MUST have the parking brake functional (like the Cadillac Seville ones). Didn't know if that was a problem with these different style calipers...

I know RJ notched the shock mount to clear the cable, but on my early (narrower) rearend, it would require a rather large notch...

The parking brake lever needs to be applied to keep the rear brakes adjusted. Unlike the front piston that stays out and never needs adjusting the rear caliper piston only is kept in adjustment by occaisionaly applying the park brake. You will be ok if when you change your oil or about every 3000 miles work the park lever to adjust the rear calipers.

put calipers on without the parking brake feature and use this.

I don't know what front caliper (no e-brake) would swap for these (finned aluminum style)...

It's my understanding that the parking brake is different on the 93-97 f body calipers, and doesn't have the problems of the earlier ones.

I heard that you cannot get a car inspected with the parking brakes unhooked. Not sure if true, though.

True in Texas, but not the same in all states. Some don't do safety inspections at all.
